The event provided an opportunity for Canadians and colleagues to engage in discussions on genetics, reconnect with peers, and establish new collaborative relationships.

DNA on Loan: Exploring Biobanking with Indigenous Values Forum - April 16-18, 2024; Wendake, Québec
The forum was hosted by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Institute of Genetics (CIHR-IG) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Institute of Indigenous Peoples' Health (CIHR-IIPH), in partnership with Genome Canada.
The goal of the forum was to share and build upon the knowledge of good policy and practices within the field of genomics and biobanking with Indigenous populations.
